Seven Second Samurai: A Game made in 48 hours that had to be playable within 7 seconds:
Making a game where the main loop is playable within 7 seconds was a really fun limitation to design around. I ended up creating this 2 player rock-paper-scissors fighting game where the rounds are only seven seconds long!
Some fun details I was proud of:
I was also interested in playing with a color palette of only 4 colors as an additional design challenge.
I went with the wind blown grass aesthetic even though it was computationally expensive.
The lightning strike triggers the duel (for extra drama 😅)
The birds that flee from the grass after lightning strikes is my favorite detail ❤
