Resistor: A game jam game made in 37 hours

I made this game as part of the annual GMTK game jam competition for 2023.

The theme was “Roles Reversed“ and I came up with this idea of playing a 3rd person shooter, but where the player is stationary. I had this idea in the back of my mind for a while and thought this was a good opportunity to scratch that itch.

Thematically, the player is captured and reverses roles by executing his would-be executioners. It didn’t do too well competitively, but for me it was a fun exercise for a free 1.5 days I had before my son’s 5th birthday!
