Made in less than 48 hours for the GMTK 2022 Game Jam Competition given the theme “Rolling the Dice”:

As a fun change of pace from deep learning work, I participated in a Game Jam this weekend along 27 thousand others globally. The challenge was to make a game in less than 48 hours with the theme "Rolling with the dice".

I made an intense survival-shooter where you literally "shoot the dice" (pun intended) to match the value on the door to progress to the next level (all while surviving a horde of zombies).

The process of creating something technical and creative within extreme limitations is just so dang fun and exciting!

Great practice in scope, smart and efficient designs, creativity, and learning to deal with abandoning features for the greater good! (the actual hardest part of any work that eventually needs to be shipped)

At the very least I made something my kids like playing, which is worth the effort alone .
